Fire Emergency

If You Discover a Fire

  1. Shout β€œFire!” to alert neighbors
  2. Activate the nearest fire alarm pull station
  3. Call 999 β€” give your unit number and block
  4. Evacuate immediately β€” do NOT use the elevator

Evacuation

  • Use the fire staircase only β€” NOT the lift
  • Close all doors behind you (slows fire spread)
  • Gather at the assembly point (car park entrance)
  • Do not return to the unit until cleared by fire department

Fire Drills

  • Building fire drills held quarterly
  • All residents are expected to participate
  • Check announcements page for drill schedules

Medical Emergency

  1. Call 999 immediately
  2. Call security for ambulance access and escort
  3. Clear the corridor for emergency access
  4. If possible, have someone wait at the main gate for emergency vehicles

Water Leak

From Your Unit

  1. Turn off the main water valve (usually near kitchen)
  2. Contact management office immediately
  3. Document damage for insurance claims

From Neighboring Unit

  1. Notify security immediately
  2. Security will contact the affected unit owner/tenant
  3. Turn off your main valve if water enters your unit

Power Outage

Building-Wide Outage

  • Management office will investigate and notify residents
  • Emergency lighting will activate automatically
  • If prolonged, management will contact TNB

Your Unit Only

  1. Check your unit circuit breaker (fuse box)
  2. Reset any tripped switches
  3. If persistent, contact management for electrical inspection

Security Emergency

  • Suspicious person/activity: Call security 03-7496 7589
  • Theft/burglary: Call police 999, then security
  • Lost access card: Report to security immediately (temporary card available)

Flood / Heavy Rain

  • 1120 Park Avenue has flood drainage systems
  • If flooding occurs in car park, move vehicles to upper levels
  • Close unit windows and balconies during heavy rain
  • Check management office announcements for flood alerts
